- High temperature. Strain gauges of this type are necessary for measuring weight in conditions with high temperature, therefore they are most often used in metallurgy, as well as for weighing in extreme industrial conditions.
- Stainless steel sensors, as a rule, are designed for long-term operation and are used in aggressive environments, such as the food or chemical industry.
- Strain gauges are designed to work in harsh conditions and are necessary as measuring elements in a telecommunications network with high mechanical loads.
